"Traditional hotel with very relaxed atmosphere. Family owned and staff who were absolutely lovely. Funny, friendly and helpful. Quite quirky with a definite African ambience. Not trying to be too perfect!! Close to the beach in a quiet area. Super pool with stress free feeling as quite shallow and never busy. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and visited regularly by cheeky monkeys."

A lack of written information describing amenities. Mosquitos can be a problem if you normally suffer after being bitten.

"We loves the hotel in general. The rooms were well equipped, the food was super delicious, the portions were great. The staff was helpful and extraordinarily kind to small children."

We did not know that we should climd a lot of stairs in order to reach the restaurant. It was difficult for our parents.

"Food was ok, the staff was amazing and made you feel extremely welcome, this was the first time staying at this hotel, and I have just re-booked for next year. The hotel was quite, but had it lively time with live music. Enjoyed myself so much. Breakfast was lovely and so was dinner."

"location. Usually the cafe in the hotel is lovely but that was closed. The pool is very relaxed (small but so personable and quite). The location and use of all the Weston beach is the best. Without the pretentiousness."

That the restaurant isn't closed and no one helped me with my huge case to my room ( iwas on my own and kinda just pointed in the right direction even though I had three bags.

Some of the dinner service staff were not particularly professional - demure, inattentive, lacking humour.. Not what you'd expect for such a high class establishment.

Me ajudaram muito quando tive um perrengue com uma agencia de turismo - inclusive reclamando por mim pela falha da agência, me senti super acolhida e isso faz muita diferença quando estamos sozinhos em outro país. A estrutura do quarto é bastante boa (poderia melhorar só na iluminação e dar alguma privacidade para os quartos do térreo, que, a noite, se não fecharmos o blackout, viram uma vitrine). Toalhas e lençóis ótimos, chuveiro maravilhoso. Cama e travesseiros bem bons. A cidade é bem caotica, com trânsito perigoso e pouco turistica, e a Casa Andina é um lar fora de casa."

O café da manhã, embora bem gostoso, é um pouco deficiente quando comparado à qualidade do hotel. A localização não é ruim, mas são bons 15 a 20 minutos lomba acima a partir do centro (na altitude, lembrem-se). Apesar de terem um espaço externo privado da unidade, os quartos do térreo não tem como aproveitar isso, já que não tem nenhuma privacidade. Me sentei na mureta com a porta do quarto aberta um dia, pegando sol, e recebi olhares de muito espanto, embora não tenha me sentido compelida a sair dali - e é um espaço com solzinho muito bom, acho que com uma floreira alta ao redor já daria a privacidade necessária.

The AC and the Fridge in our room were not working but immediately we reported, they were fixed.

"It's on the beach, right as you want it to be at a place like Turks. The atmosphere is, in general, very cozy, and the overall premises work well. It gives out a relaxed mood and the sea in front of the hotel is superb. They actually provide ice free of charge, which eventually proved to be very helpful. The room was quite good and spacious. They are, though, a bit old, but they still provide a good stay, and everything worked as expected."

The service at the restaurant is quite slow. Some technical stuff in the rooms can be improved, such as the shower and the sockets.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very warm and welcoming, especially Allan who made us feel truly cared for. Special thanks to Silvia for her wonderful management and for creating such a peaceful quiet and relaxing experience. It was truly a charming stay at Lonno Lodge and we would gladly return and Watamu as a city is a very beautiful place very worth visiting Jonas & Siam"

"The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us good advice about the city and where to eat and drink. The recommendations were spot on! There was tea and coffee in the room. Lovely to be in a family run hotel that showed care to the building and the visitors."

Some of the bathrooms should be renovated, one leaked water even to the mainroom, which was dangerous. Even others have humidity damages and small cockroaches. I was twice bitten by insects during the night, probably bedbugs or ants, and had to ask the staff to spray my room again. Some of the sheets are obviously not pure cotton and itchy.

Bathrooms deffinately need up dating, carpets in the corridors need taking out and tiles flooring put down there’s really nothing around such as shops, places to eat it is deffinately the last stop before the ferry terminal

"Clean hotel in the city center, next to a mini market. Warm room without many amenities but quite spacious bathroom. On the plus side, parking in a public area under the hotel.The view of the restaurant was amazing."

There is not a direct access of the parking to the hotel. The breakfast was poor as there was no hot dishes (scrambled eggs i.e.) and there was the only option of black coffee even the restaurant was servings other coffees the rest of the day.

"This hotel is at the higher end of the price range but i keep returning as they have an EXCELLENT restaurant and very professional friendly staff. Many of the staff are long term employees and are true hospitality staff. I just hope they are appreciated by Mendana senior management."

The reticulated TV system requires some work as reception is poor and the room lighting is not real good. Also, we stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms and the maintenance manager should be aware that many of the newly laid floor tiles are "drummy" and will require repairs very soon.

"We stayed one night at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant and refined, with a great location. They even offered us free access to the spa, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. After a day navigating San Marino’s steep streets and steps, it was especially nice to return to such a cozy and relaxing hotel."

الموقف معقده ولكنها مجانيه ، يجب ان تحتفظ في كرت السياره وان تذهب الى الاستقبال في كل مره تريد الخروج بالسياره لا يوجد هوز في الحمام ولكن يوفرون لك بديل شطاف ( حسب الامكانيه )

"Everything was good, enjoyed my 4 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very attentive and helpful! The airport transfer service was a real life saver!"

"- Great location, just a short 10 minute walk to Port Hercule. Also located next to a underpass with travellators which leads you to and from Monaco train station which is perfect. - 10 minute walk to a big underground supermarket - Friendly staff - Room fine, had everything needed - Breakfast fine. Small pastries, bread, selection of yoghurts, cheese, ham, juices and coffee.,"

"Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."
