This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art."

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

"It's a beautiful hotel 10 out of 10. So comfortable and pretty. Very clean and you can have a beautiful view of the Nile. I absolutely recommend this place. "Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"The owner, Pierce was very friendly as were the other workers here. Location was excellent as it was close to shops, restaurants and you can even walk to the ferry terminal. Included breakfast was good enough. Great views from the hotel. Good value for an expensive destination like St Thomas."

I had a shared bathroom but it seems like everyone was using it, not just the guests who were designated that bathroom. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything that people do in their rooms...

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.
