"The host -Dumisa was very friendly and even though we had issues at the boarder he waited for us to arrive very late at night and escorted us to the place. The house was spacious, clean and good value for money."

"We had a wonderful time at Luke's Place back in November. Linda was a lovely host, and very knowledgeable of the area. Communication was quick and easy. Her property is in a beautiful neighbourhood and has a direct access to the beach, just a short walk from the central market. The garden was extremely well taken care of, with sunbeds to relax and a pool. The apartment we stayed in was super comfortable, spacious, clean and the bed was perfect. The best equipped kitchen in this side of the world! Other than all these things, what mattered the most, was the great feeling you're left with after staying at Luke's Place - that's the best memory. I sense we will be back in the future!"

Çamaşır makinesi değişmeli diye düşünüyorum. Çalışıyor fakat biraz fazla gürültülü ve çok uzun süre de yukarı. Banyo için komple bi değişiklik olabilir. Özellikle kış ayları için daha ısınabilir hale getirilebilir. Fakat yine de her şey çok iyiydi.

"Spacious, clean, so many facilities for us to use, loved that it was a whole villa to ourselves and it was private although there were other villa’s around it was still like like our own private home. Every bedroom had a ensuite, balcony, garden view. The pool, the outdoor area, the garage, the washing machine and dryer, the kitchen and kitchenware was great, living area was comfortable and great for a family esp with dinning area. We loved our stay here! It feels like it away from the city but it’s still a 5-10min drive away so it was a perfect hideaway."

Hard to find the property as it had no exact address number just the street especially if you don’t speak French - neighbours tried to help but could only speak French. The house is fully furnished but does not have the essentials - you will have to buy this yourself ie. dishwashing liquid, powder, salt, pepper, toilet paper, coffee, sugar etc. the house comes with none and it’s not provided so be prepared that you will have to go out and buy it.

The check in process and receiving the keys could be improved. That process was not clear and we had to wait before a closed door.

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

"I stayed here for two weeks during my work trip. The owners, Sandra and her husband, were very friendly and responsive. Before arriving, I checked whether they had a coffee machine in the villa; they made sure I would have one to use when I arrived. They had a brand new espresso machine for me. It was great to have access to good coffee, as Lilongwe's cafe culture is still developing. The housekeeper, Alice, was also excellent—very clean, tidy, and does laundry perfectly. The location is great in a very safe and green area with several tucked away restaurants in 20 -30 min walking distances, but without a car, it is a bit inconvenient to get around. But, this generally applies to anywhere else in Lilongwe. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel room during an extended work trip or if you're visiting Lilongwe for more than a couple of days."

"This property is in a stunning location and perfect for a winter stay. The whole property is phenomenally well equipped and very tasteful. Photos do not do it justice. Be prepared however - you will need a car (or arrange other transport) if you want to go anywhere including a local shop (in Lyngseidat) - we knew this and had organised other transport but do your research!!"

The bathroom.. Especially the one upstairs was not functioning and was not functional. It was spoiled and one had to use a bucket of water to flash. The breakfast provided was quite basic and not worth it.
