Hotel Gold is situated in the centre of Terchová just next to the sports and wellness centre with views of the National Park and a statue of Juraj Jánošík-Slovak national hero. "Excellent and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Excellent location. No issues with parking, no need to reserve your spot as enough space."
"Information about swimming pool is very misleading. Swimming pool is own by third party, and as close to the hotel the owner offers to use it for hotel customers for “additional fee”. It’s not really an “additional fee” as you will be charged 6 euros per person, per hour! In my opinion the cost of the room we paid (150 euros per night) was overpriced."

"Exceeded our expectation. For 3 stars it offered 4,5 star accommodation and BREAKFAST!!! The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this great value for money hotel if you just want to have a great time hiking in a lovely village with great restaurants."
