"Although it was dog friendly this only allowed access to & from room. Understandably not allowed in restaurant or bar but not welcome in foyer seating area either so very restricted."

"We received a lovely welcome & were ugraded to a room with an amazing view. We were also given a welcome drink. We then had a very nice meal in the bar as the restaurant was busy. The hotel has plenty of parking & was perfect for an overnight stop."

"We enjoyed everything about the hotel. Very convenient for roads, good parking and friendly helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice shower and loads of hot water. The food we had ,breakfast and dinner was lovely and not too expensive. In all a pleasant stay."

"Great location, quiet place, good breakfast, outdoor swimming pool was good, nice spacious room, super nice staff. Great view from the room. The beds/mattresses were excellent (to my taste). We tried the restaurant for two dinners. The food was quite good (we had the buffet but there is an à là carte option) and the price was ok. (Be aware that the drinks are not included in the buffet price). Free parking."

"I know the hotel since he was build. And i eat and had drinks and coffe almost every week until i left Castelo Branco. Has a great view. Staff is great. The inside swimming pool is warm and is great to be there in the winter. The rooms are big enough. Breakfast is very good and diverse. And now they have a fast charger for EVs!"

"Pilow and matress for the price could be better. This was a cheaper hotel a few years ago. But if you want to charge this price you need to be better!"

"The Melia Castelo Branco is well located, in walking distance of the city. The hotel has a nice design and has an excellent view over the city and the surroundings. The room was spacious and the bathroom very nice with bidet. We has a small terrace with nice view over the hills and pool.There is a coffee machine and safe in the room. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Personnel at reception very nice. Easy to park in this hotel. Nice pool. High value for money."

"Excellent rooms, comfortable with all the amenities. The pool area is gorgeous and fun, with many spaces to sit/lounge and shaded areas. The breakfast is all fresh, varied and constantly being refilled. We went for dinner at the restaurant and it was a gorgeous meal (around 20€/25€ per person). The pool bar was great for little snacks and drink. All the staff was lovely and super accomodating. Tons of parking. Great views of the city and the mountains. Can't wait to come back."
