"We made a last minute booking at Smylies and were very pleased with the accommodation. Friendly welcome from Keiko who showed us to our motel room. Good sized room with a well equipped kitchen for self catering. Nice big comfy bed and hot shower with a nice lounge area & TV. We were next to the main road but it wasn't too busy or noisy. We had a great night's sleep. The grounds are varied with animals nearby, a lush garden to explore and outdoor seating for relaxing. We were invited to visit the library and games area if we wanted. Colin was happy to share useful advice about the weather conditions and places we could visit along route to our next stay which we accepted and enjoyed along our journey. Many thanks Colin!
