"The staff were really helpful and friendly. Could not ask for more from them. The beach is pristine, the water was clear and warm. Great to swim at if you are used to beaches with waves. Really good views from the villa and the villa is comfortable and well equipped (located at the top of the dunes behind the beach). We had great weather, warm and very little rain. The cooling sea breeze during the day actually made the (hot) January temperatures quite manageable - without the sea breeze it would be quite hot."

"If I have to nit pick it would be the following: - we would have liked a coffee press in the room rather than instant coffee. - the aircon in the unit is underspecced for the size of the room (or it needed to be serviced) The aircon is generally not a problem during the day, because the unit is on the top of the sand dunes behind the beach and generally has a cooling breeze that made even January weather manageable. Except at night when the windows are closed and mosquito nets come down - that is when we would have liked a more powerful aircon."

"It is the main lodge at the entrance to Gorongoza National Park. Its a remarkable achievement with running hot water, electricity etc. with a fantastic well run restaurant and well organised safaris by Game wardens. internet is available if slow. There is also a swimming pool for summer season. Your neighbours a warthogs!"

"Staff are incredibly. My wife fell ill whilst we were there and Alberto was amazing. Brought us medicine and other helpful natural remedies, kept checking in, made us as comfortable as we could be. The lodge itself is lovely with great views of the lake and a pool you can do lengths of, or sit and relax in. We stumbled across this on our travels and very happy to have found it."

"This is true luxury, a very isolated property, eco-friendly, and with a great history in itself and with the local communities. It takes a fun 4x4 drive to get there. The dunes and the beach are dreamy, the room was impeccable and comfortable, and the pool zone so relaxing. Best dinner we had in our trip to Mozambique, everything was delicious."
