"Lots of foot traffic - apartment was on ground floor at road level and was a bit noisy. We were very delayed and communicated this with the hotel arriving at 2:30am. We had booked for 2 adults and 2 children would have been nice if children’s beds were made and we didn’t have to do this at 2:30am"

"Very good location - walking distance to the bus terminal and several supermarkets. Studio well equipped with enough crockery to cook for 3 people. Extremely cosy and warm - we had to keep a window open when it was snowing outside! Comfortable beds and bedding. Good value for money!"

"Only a comment. We had an accident where a chair was damaged and broke. The hotel was very quick to reply to my email but they did not remove the chairs as I requested - having a child and a broken chairs was not a good combination."

"I really loved our stay at Rey apartments, I wanted to pick an apartment rather than a hotel so that we could have amenities to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the property and the kitchen had everything we needed. When we arrived we were told we weren’t in the main apartment block but had to go through to a back door where there were three more cabin like rooms which were private from the main road. The location was amazing, we were very close to the church and rainbow street and felt like we were in the middle of all the main attractions. Even when getting picked up for tours we did not need to go far. We had also hired a car and found parking very simple in the area. The property was cozy and kept very warm, it did everything we needed it to for a perfect trip."

"Check in and out very easy. Facilities all self explanatory. Nice shower. Brilliant central location near to all cafes, restaurants and short walk to city centre."

"No blind on kitchen window was disappointing. Lack of USB or similar charging points. Seating area a little uncomfortable. We had expected there to be a sofa bed in addition to the double bed but there wasn't - though to be fair we did not raise this with the establishment or give them a chance to address this, and we managed fine."

"Rooms are nice and well apportioned as well as fitted. The equipment is functional, reasonably new and clean. Note that there is no washing machine or dishwasher."

"The only part that puts the experience a little off is no prior knowledge that rooms could be on higher floors, and that luggage needs to be manually carried up. In our group of four families, I was lucky to get room 106, which is the section behind the main building and is on ground floor, others had rooms in main building on second floor. It was hard to carry up suitcases with 14 days worth of stuff in them ! Dragging up 24 kgs per person was not fun."

"As it is in the city center, parking is expensive(P1 zone). Ensure you are budgeting the same while comparing hotels. approx 500 isk per hour. There are no lifts so if you are getting a room on 1st floor or 2nd floor, it will involve some heavy lifting."
