"Very nice and lovely decorated, well equiped and well thought out apartment in a quiet little street; the owners really have a good sense for detail here. Had everything we (family of 4) needed for our longer 2-week-stay and was the perfect central base for our trips around the golden circle and beyond. Felt just like home immediately. The owners are very nice and friendly."

"A gorgeous hotel set in a spectacular location with lovely staff and great facilities. It's very close to the 'official' Blue lagoon and we spent a day at the spa at 'The Retreat', which I would highly recommend. They woke us up to see the Northern Lights which was also a nice touch. We had a fabulous relaxed breakfast & enjoyed the late night soak in Silica's Blue Lagoon."
