"Julia and John were the ultimate hosts. The cottage was completely fitted out with everything you could possibly need. It was extremely clean, neat and very comfortable. The view across the river was really lovely and it was wonderful to sit and have a glass of wine admiring the view. It was a very easy 3 minute walk in to town. We will definitely return!"

The property was spacious with lovely garden and water views as well as an outdoor area for meals or just relaxing. An easy walk into the town. The hosts John and Julia were very helpful with recommendations and assisting with restaurant reservations. We would highly recommend Riverside Lodge to other travellers."

"A beautiful location with stunning gardens and a superbly decorated lodge. Very modern and very clean and well presented. The location is a 5min walk into Chablis. The garden is a beautiful peaceful place to sit and have breakfast from the local Boulanger or just to read a book."

"Location was great, within walking distance from the town center which had bakeries, supermarket, restaurants… great place to explore the area and sample wines. The house was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine and 2 bathrooms. It also had an outdoor area by the river where you could eat, relax…absolutely fantastic. John and Louisa created such a beautiful place."
