"I wouldn't recommend arriving after sunset as a solo female traveler because there's a 400m long path through the forest from the tram station to the hostel that's completely unlit. I was very scared. No curtain. The plug is vertically downward so not very friendly for travelers who need an adapter. It’s good to be sustainable but the water in the shower is too small + I’m probably not tall enough for this Dutch shower. The shower head was very high up and the water flowed in a cone. I stood in the middle of this hollow cone and the water only hit me when I was very close to the wall, so I felt like most of the water was wasted. I’m 170cm tall for reference."

It is set in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the central station. The landlord was very respectful, polite, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and we would gladly return."

"Europarc De Hooge Veluwe is a fantastic holiday park with ample facilities and located near the buzzing city of Arnhem. There is a wide choice of different accommodation to suit your needs. The Velthorst 4 we had was spacious and furnished well. The cleanliness of the place upon arrival was not spot on so we had a bit of a clean before we settled in."

"Expecting to strip the beds and leave it broom clean after paying nearly €1000 with all the other little asks is a bit much especially if you had to leave early in the morning, it meant a trip to the tip, stripping beds emptying the dishwasher etc etc etc"
