"Josette gave very clear instructions on arrival and entry was seamless. The apartment is spacious and very well stocked with everything you could need and more. The location is amazing, looking over the bay in the evening is a beautiful view."

"The appartment and the terrace are bigger than in the photos. It is very nice and bright, you have a big "baie vitree" overlooking the church (the red roof has a beautiful colour in the morning sun) and a side view on the Mellieha bay. The appartment is modern, clean and well equipped. There is a small supermarket Spar cca 8 minutes walk, another bigger one 15 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car, pharmacy 10 minutes walk. I had a rental car so can't speak for the public transportation, but finding parking was never an issue at the appartment or anywhere else (apart from Valletta, which is probably full all year round). Maria is a great host and a very warm person. We arrived late in the evening and she was there to greet us and answer all questions we might have had. She also booked boat tickets for Comino for us on a very short notice, she would advise us as to what to see and do."

"Nothing that is in Maria's power but I feel I should mention it although it was not an issue for us - there is a construction site on the opposite side of the road where the workers start early in the morning."

"The apartment was wonderful, in a very strategic position, near to every bus station to take you in every place of Malta. It was bigger than expected, very clean and complete with everything you need to make your journey comfortable. The host, Alex, is a wonderful person, very pleasant to speak with and very kind. We had a wonderful time. We hope to come soon."

"Very comfortable beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed truly amazing panoramic seaviews from balcony, with own roof terrace with jacuzzi. Air-conditioning in the bedroom as well as in the living room served us very well. Two toilets and private garage are a great bonus. Best choice for couples. The surroundings of the apartment is quiet, shops are very close as well as the centre of Mellieha. The beach down in the town is the best of all beaches we visited in Malta."

"The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking. We were missing a colander and the frying pan was not very suitable for making scrambled eggs, they kept getting burnt. We had to buy black pepper, but the hostess provided salt and olive oil, which was nice. There is a highway next to the house and we did not find it annoying, however there is some noise."

"The lovely view, the large airy rooms, good air conditioning - used as heaters during our February visit, well equipped kitchen, spacious 2 sitting rooms, a lovely supermarket only 10 mins away, the villa is ideal for groups of friends! Also we had a very good response by our hosts to our needs, providing us with a much-needed teapot! We used the sauna once, which was great. The hot jaccuzi was fun too. We went once in the pool (it was February!). You can go down many steps right down to the sea from the villa. Good wifi, very comfy beds (all of them)."

"There was a big storm and the electricity was partly cut off in our villa. However, the rapid response was excellent and an electrician came to sort it all out very fast. The only thing that could have been much better is for the owners to do some redecoration in a few parts of the house, for example some bathroom doors did not have locks, others with dodgy locks (a few of us were locked into the bathroom). Also some tiles in the bathroom had fallen off the wall. And a few other places needed some some attention, like the kitchen kick-board. It would have been great also to have some good reading lights in the sitting rooms. But on the whole it is a very wonderful villa, and it made for a hugely happy holiday."

"Everything on the listing was exactly as described. Host was quick to reply and instructions were very clear. The area of Melliena was really nice. Very quiet, safe, polite locals and near beaches / other towns etc. We used the Bellview cafe and Wellbees shop a lot around the corner, highly recommend both for food and drink etc. We loved staying in this apartment."

"We found the buses to be quite busy and not on time so our recommendation is to use Bolt/Uber for travel and we found that really useful. The TV in the apartment didn't have channels and you needed logins for Netflix Youtube etc but we were exploring most of the time so this wasn't an issue to be honest."
