"The 300 year old building has been renovated and converted into a very charming and comfy hotel. The rooms retain the old stone and wood feel and look but are modern with look insulation, no creaking etc. We loved the view out of the window. The people are excellent too. They took care of all of our demands , with a smile. The hot breakfast dishes were prepared on order and were excellent. It was a memorable stay."

"Location is great, plenty of space, charming, good bathroom, good kitchen, spacious bedroom (excellent for one family), excellent communication with host from start to end. I do recommend it."

"... really low doors, I hit my head a few times. I understand that is the original construction, ancient and it adds to the charme, but still they are low."

"Everything! We’ve got an upgrade and enjoyed the room very much. Simple but nice breakfast, very friendly staff. Can definitely recommend the place."

"Nice, recently renovated room, traditional and cozy common areas like the restaurant. Good value and location near the old Gemstock cable car. The larger, somewhat easier and sunnier Gütsch area was easily reachable by free shuttle buses - or by a 10 minute walk we never took in our ski boots. The breakfast was a traditional Alpine breakfast of bread, croissants, muesli and yogurt - did the job just fine! We dined at the hotel’s restaurant one evening and it was of good quality and value."

"There’s no sauna/spa area - I find it always nice to hit a sauna/spa after a day’s skiing. But I knew this when booking already so it didn’t come as a surprise."
