"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

"Un lugar encantador bien ubicado en Alto Jaramillo, tiene una vista espectacular a toda la ciudad de Boquete y Volcán Barú fue impresionante para mis niñas ver salir el arco iris justo del jardín de las cabañas. Las instalaciones del lugar muy buenas y limpio; el restaurante muy rico y el personal muy amable y complaciente te hacen sentir como en casa! Para llegar al lugar la carretera en buen estado y cerca del pueblo de Boquete!"

1. Не работал телевизор ( обещали заменить у след постояльцам) 2. Пляж не пригоден для купания. Практически всегда отлив. 3. Для проживания в вилле нужно авто.

"Nice and cozy log cabins, good location, quiet and clean. Shower drain clogged - reception staff immediately came and fixed. Transport to the slopes on time, fast and comfortable. Restaurant amazing food, service was a bit slow but no rush in holiday isn’t it ? Good pricing too. ( half price or even more comparing to a meal at a proper restaurant in uk - not Weatherspoons ) Cheaper than Romania comparing to what resort has to offer in Borovets than Poiana Brasov."

Heating was difficult to set in the upstairs bedroom - either too hot either cold. Would love to see some attention to the small details and some improvements with the heating.

A szárító tiszta rozsda volt, nem tudtam, vagyis nem akartam arra kiteregetni. Egyetlen éles kést sem találtunk, amivel a pékárut elvághattuk volna. A konyhai/nappali rész tele volt szúnyogokkal kora este, amikor megérkeztünk, így, aludni ott nem tudtunk (de az alvás a régi hűtő folyamatosan búgó hangjától is lehetetlen lett volna.) Úgy gondolom, hogy az apartman árához képest ezek olyan apró dolgok, amikre lehetne figyelni.

"اكواخ لطيفة وتصميمها جيد ، الاسرة كانت مريحة ونظيفة .. تعامل فريق العمل كان لطيف جداً ومتعاون وكانت السيدة التي سلمتنا الكوخ تتحدث الانجليزية مما ساعدنا كثيراً. السعر الذي دفعناه كان عادل جداً نظراً لقلة السواح في منتصف مايو .. يوجد شطاف في دورة المياه"

الحمام ضيق جداً ، ذكروا في الوصف ان هناك مطبخ متكامل في الكوخ ولكن الحقيقة انه لايوجد في الكوخ حتى سخان ماء وانما مطبخ خارجي ونظراً لعدم وجود سواح في وقت اقامتنا كان المطبخ شبه مهجور وقد كانت مضيفتنا لطيفة حيث طلبنا منها ماء ساخن لعمل الشاي.

It would have been helpful to understand when booking, that there was a managing agent on site who would arrange / allocate things. I thought I had booked a specific chalet, not that I had to visit a reception to be allocated a chalet. That would have been helpful when booking transfers etc. Also that there was a barrier that needed a code. Some of our party that had a taxi were almost left at the barrier with all their luggage, which would then have to be carried up the hill to the chalet. Could the code be sent before arrival?

I was not impressed with the fact that I was asked to pay additional fees charged by the host on checking my booking these fees were not added to my original booking at the time of booking the property. The host explained that these are the fees chargred by booking.com to her which I suspect is passed on.

"The location..wow..you have to see it yourself.. Super helpful host, Marijana is so helpful and she make sure we didnt need anything. The weather was getting cold, so she gave us an umbrella, a clean jacket and made sure the temp was set properly. The house is equipped with everything you need to stay comfortably. Most importantly, it is Super clean and organized Zlatibor centre is 20 mins away by car. Note: Please note this property is not suitable for small children or elderly due to steepy stair and structure. المكان رائع ونظيف مناسب للازواج والاصدقاء، لكن ليس للاطفال وكبار السن. المضيفه طيبه وتحب المساعده..المكان خيالي.."

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

Me gustaría que hubiera cámara de seguridad en la parte de afuera, que es donde quedan los vehículos.

"The beds are extremely comfortable, the check in super easy, the cottage is super cozy, warm and has everything you need for cooking. The location is great, in a secluded spot, absolutely peaceful. We love the dogs, it was a bonus be able to pet and play with them."

Due to my carelessness, I thought the Smyrr cottage had a shower (the photos only show a sink and toilet, but I assumed the shower just wasn't in the photo), so if you're staying longer, you might want to take that into consideration.

For a family of four it was a bit tight spaced, but not unmanageable. Just for awareness - it is one bedroom and the sleeper couch serves as second bed.
