"I liked the concept of this place - It’s a rustic, farmhouse-like accommodation with the fireplace in our rooms and the horses outside. The hosts were very accommodating, giving us a free upgrade for our rooms and allowing a late breakfast. The food there was great. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

"Nice bungalows, nice views from the breakfast area, very quiet and peaceful area, I loved the breakfast."

On Weekends it gets quite loud at the pool area as it is open to foreigners and restaurant guets in general.

"The campsite has an astonishing view of the lake Manyara and the national park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The unique igloos have a pleasant interior atmosphere and are comfortable to sleep in. The campsite is ideally located for visiting the various national parks in the region. The restaurant serves excellent food."

"Location was amazing, placed was comfortable, clean and well decorated , food choices were very varied."

There wasn't a shelter, or at least it was not clearly marked. Lower lighting during the night to allow stargazing would have been nice.

"Went there to paddle the river. The team on duty went out of their way to make me welcome. This is the off season so they made a special effort to do the river trip with me. Equipment was very modern and well kept. I was a bit out of practice so I felt in safe hands with my guides. Accomodation was great. The place has been built from scratch and with a lot of thought. Just what you need when doing river trips in Nepal."

I was happy with everything.

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The tented room was very comfortable and we loved the deck with the far reaching views and watching the animals. We did two game drives here with Lucky and he was excellent."

"Truly friendly staff, everyone was soooo welcoming, we felt over the moon when arrived to this camp...it is one in a lifetime experience...the staff goes over the mile to support you, I wish we stayed for to nights instead of one... we travelled the world but This Camp, its people, food, ambiance, scenery is out of this world... would highly recommend to everyone. Food was much better than in most hotels. Thank u for this experience!"

A little bit noisy from the neighbours

"Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

"We had an amazing stay in this place. Everything was clean and new. Saff was really nice and helpful. The location is 30-40 minutes from Port Barton which is still close and it is so quiet there, brach is almost empty. Just when you want to use a grill, tell it to the staff a day in advance in case they dont have a charcoal. Would definitely recommend."

A bit far out of town. 35 minute walk or 6 minute taxi. A small price to pay for such a beautiful location

"Поддържано място, спокойно, със страхотен плаж! Бяхме на каравана, много ни хареса! В ресторанта на плажа хапнахме прясна рибка!"

Единственото неудобство ако си на каравана или палатка са общите бани и тоалетни, но бяха чисти и бяха само за гости на къмпинга! Така, че отзива не е негативен! Разбира се, предлагат се и студия със соствен санитарен възел!

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.
