"Felt secure. Good management. I like how there's the bar underneath and the deals on food and drinks. Hallways & common room have a charming rustic vibe."

"As I was folding one of the sheets back up as part of the check out rules I was a bit disturbed how dirty one sheet was and it wasn't me. I think that should've been tossed. Everything else was good."

"I stayed on the second floor (as requested) and it was great! The noise from the street and the pub was alot more tolerable. I love the beds, they are very comfy. The security of the building is also great."

"The bathrooms need to be deep cleaned. Alot of pubic hair and stains in the common areas. I would say twice a day would be ideal. I also found alot of hair on the floor of my room. A vacuum would be best to get all those pesky hairs."

"Amenities. Great staff. Can be noisy at times. And the people that stay there are great. Recommend this place. Manager is awesome too."

"Charger points are not available near some beds but otherwise it's value for money"

"I loved the greeting and the staff were very helpful. The downstairs Cambie pub is great during the day, met some new people. The location you really cant get any better. Everything is walkable from here."

"The noise from the pub, but it was to be expected. Bring noise cancelling headphones. There was also a few pieces of left over garbage in my room."

"The staff. Jose the manager is the best. Modern washroom. Washer and dryer open daily. Good food and great beers on tap."

"The area gets rowdy at 5 am. With area residents."

"The staff is really helpfull and friendly. You're in a perfect location to get food, drinks and do some shopping. It's close to the steamclock and the seabus to north Vancouver."

"I had a great time at The Cambie Hostel Gastown. The staff were so thoughtful and kind, always ready to help. The kitchen was clean, well equipped and perfect for cooking my own meals. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Gastown and Waterfront. Highly recommend!"
