"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. The smaller cabins are a little tightly packed together, but not an issue unless you're on honeymoon 🤗

Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

The lighting outside the room, in the halls, was not dimmed during the night. The rooms have coloured glass windows/ doors so was difficult for sleeping during the night.

Bed a little harder than our preference but I think that’s normal! We supplied our own music, frequent power cuts but the generator kicked in quickly.

"The room and the whole atmosphere/service felt more like a classical hotel than a hostel, so the price was more than fair. The staff are extremely engaged in making their guests feel comfortable and they even organized fresh glutenfree bread for breakfast. The location is a little off in Zona 10, but everything needed is within reach by foot and/or taxi."

My room had a desk, which accommodated electric plugs, but there were none beside the bed. When the window was not open, the air got a little stuffy, presumably from the included bathroom.

A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"I had a really lovely stay at Tribute Guest House in Lesotho. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The lady at reception was incredibly kind and helpful. On my way to the guest house, my car got stuck in the mud, and she went out of her way to call a driver to check on me and assist. She really didn’t have to do that, but she did, and I truly appreciated it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. It was a bit cold at times, but that can be forgiven given the area and weather. The location was good and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The amenities were great, the food was fresh and very enjoyable, and the WiFi worked well the whole time with no connection issues. What I liked most was the genuine care and kindness from the staff, along with how comfortable the stay was overall. There wasn’t much I didn’t like, except for the slight cold in the room. We didn't get a room by the pool as we had booked. Very slow service at breakfast. Old dusty furniture/kitchen equipment etc in public areas should be taken away for a better experience. The poolbar had very limited assortment.
