Situated across the street from Chiang Mai Gate and a 2-minute walk from the famous Saturday Walking Street is the boutique Mhonsa Hotel. It also offers free WiFi and free access to an outdoor mineral pool with a plunge end. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a welcome drink and a refreshing towel. "Right outside the city gates but in a small alley so it was quiet - there is some kind of workshop making loud noise next door but only during working hours. The room is big and comfortable, a bit dated but clean. Breakfast was quite nice. The swimming pool looked nice but really tiny and cold - we saw nobody using it. It’d be great if they replaced plastic bottles with refills to reduce plastic use. A good base to explore chiang mai"
