Located on São Tomé Island, Pestana Sao Tome is set on the seaside, 1 km from the centre of São Tomé. "it’s clean, convenient, shirt walking distance to interesting spots in town, nice swimming pool and views, comfortable bedding, very nice staff"
"this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats"

"I had a great stay at Pestana São Tomé. The pool was amazing, perfect for relaxing with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The staff were kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The breakfast was okay, but there’s room for improvement. The hotel is in town, so you can walk if you like. There is also a very nice restaurant nearby called Pirata, which serves excellent food. It is a beachfront hotel, but not ideal for swimming since it is surrounded by rocks. However, if you’re adventurous 💪, you might find a way through! From the hotel, I could see a sandy beach where the local São Tomé people were swimming. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I would still recommend it"
"My only small complaint is about the TV channels—there weren’t many choices, and no news channels, which was a bit disappointing since I like to watch TV."

"A nice and quiet place a little bit out of the center (20min walk). It has its own beach and infinity pool. Breakfast is scrumptious and they do a good job offering a transfer to the airport and keeping your luggage stored for example if you decide to visit Principe. On our last day we were offered a late check-out for no extra cost which we appreciated very much. Very friendly and helpful english speaking staff. We will definitely visit again."
