"Super friendly staff in super clean rooms, pool and shared areas. We ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of times too and it was great food and service too. The hotel is a family business and they're proud to serve the guests well, thanks for hosting us Belsol!"

"Well located to visit Belmonte and other places around serra da estrela. Staff is very friendly and helpfull Breakfast is ok for a 3 star hotel, served in a panoramic room with fantastic views over the valley and montains"

"The hotel is very well mantained, we can see they used quality appliances, furniture, even dishes which means they last long years, the drawback is that they make the hotel a bit dated/aged."

"The hotel is old fashioned but all lovely and clean. For me it was like stepping back in time to a hotel in spain I used to stay in with my parents. The guy in reception who I later found out was the owner was a really nice helpful chap. Motorbikes were safe in the car park"

"The reception staff were helpful and polite as usual. Pool staff however were rude and unfriendly almost as if they didn't want us there. Grounds are beautiful and clean"

"We had a short stay but it was a really good experience overall. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, made us feel right at home. We has a small issue with the toilet flush in one of the rooms but the everyone was ready to help. The breakfast was good. The rooms was very comfortable. When we return we will definitely come back to hotel Pantanha!"

"All staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. We dined at the A Terra restaurant both evenings, good varied menu also for vegans. Water, fruit and cookies served in the room daily along with some small things for the kids. The kids club is great and the staff there are superb. The dog fee is 50€/night which is a big hefty but it includes a dog bed, bowls, dog towel, poop bags and a chewing bone. There is plenty of green areas to walk our four legged friends."

"This hotel is easy to access if you are driving to Coimbra. The car park is below the hotel so find your way to the main entrance first, check in and then take your car to the parking lot. Lovely big room with a view across the plain. Ten minutes walk into central Coimbra and there are several decent restaurants nearby. We tried the Japanese buffet just down the street and it was frantic and fun! This is a business style hotel so everything is fairly functional but we found the facilities all worked and the staff were very helpful."
