"It is a good hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. As it is downtown, every attraction in Ponta Delgada was in a walking distance (if you like walking). It is next door to restaurants and bars; Friday and Saturday nights, it is the place to be. The personel were friendly and helpful. I definetly recommend it; however, if you want a quiet place, this is not for you."

"Fantastic, central location yet reasonably quiet in the room I had (some minor A/C noises from outside). Hotel nice and tidy, daily housekeeping available. Breakfast were rather simple and repetitive yet delicious - great local ingredients. Staff was very helpful and reacted to reported issues very quickly."

"Amazing views, spacious room, great breakfast and nice facilities, both indoor and outdoor. Staff is nice and the SPA was also a good experience. Location is super quiet and ideal to relax and forget the usual routine."

"Nuno is a gracious host! He met us and showed us to a beautiful room. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The decoration is very rustic and just right. The whole property is spectacular but the room was perfect. We chose to have supper provided and it was lovely. Certainly choose this option if available when staying! We had a good night's sleep in a beutiful environment and can certainly recommend Quinta da Dourada to anyone who is thinking of visiting. Oh! I nearly forgot to say the Shower was awesome!"

"Prime location and stunning view, amazing beach right at the bottom of the property. Small parking but we always found a spot. Nice pool too. Basic and old fashioned decor but it’s ok for one week and more importantly the bed was comfortable (being very sensitive to mattresses) and it was very quiet at night as away from the busy nightlife. There’s no air conditioning but it’s fine as you can open windows at the front and back to ventilate and it really cools down at night. Very friendly and helpful staff assisting by messages within minutes when needed on arrival. Having looked around, it’s defo good value for the price and the closest to the beach / best sea view you can find."

"The hotel is very well located, just a few metres away from Piódão. There's parking outside and the facilities are great: the bedrooms are quite spacious, warm and the swimming plus is a bonus! The breakfast was also quite varied and fresh."
