"When we arrived nobody was there. It was sometimes hard to find a staff member to help us. Also, the first day’s breakfast was very small (rolls and jam). The second day was better though."

"We travelled to Chivay for a tour to Colca Canyon. This hostel is at a quiet location in Chivay, the host was very nice and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, breakfast with bread and freshly fried eggs. Good price to value ratio!"

"I actually loved this place! First, the location was great! Just a few blocks from both the bus station and the center of town but still nice and quiet. Second the rooms were great too, comfy beds and pillows and plenty of blankets, and a scalding hot and high pressure shower. Breakfast was included and sufficient to get us started before Colca Canyon. On top of all this, we left one bag here while we went to Colca Canyon for a night. On the way back from Colca my friend was trying to make the Puno bus which is only once a day and the owner not only brought her bag from the hostel but also bought her Puno ticket (without us even asking) and held the bus for her. An absolutely incredible act of kindness for no reason whatsoever. Also, the hotel dog Tito is absolutely adorable and amazing. Highly recommend staying here!!"
