"Our stay with Adolfo and his family was indescribably beautiful and super authentic! From the room to the beautiful garden overlooking the lake and the fantastic food made with ingredients from their own garden, everything was perfect. The island also offers beautiful opportunities for hiking and relaxation. We stayed for two nights, but could definitely have stayed longer. Despite the language barrier (as we don't speak Spanish), Adolfo and his family were very warm, open and welcoming. It was the best stay in Peru and we can recommend it without reservation!"

"The owner spoke a little English so we could have a little conversation. She was simply lovely! Her facility had excellent video surveillance. We forgot she owed us change and she happened to be eating at the restaurant we chose for dinner and she ran to say hello and gave us back our money. "The staff helpful, though mostly speak Spanish, it is a budget accommodation good place to stay whilst you are busy all day sightseeing. It is a on picturesque square, if you are adverse to noise, request a room at the back."
