"What a little gem! I loved my stay at Tamaris.. I could not have hoped for a more genuine and helpful welcome. This lovely family run hotel is warm and welcoming. It’s also got a really fabulous roof top hand out place with free coffee! lovely clean and comfortable and an excellent location for restaurants and bus terminals."

"The staff was super duper helpful. We had to arrive in the middle of the night, and the communication was smooth with the staff beforehand on WhatsApp. The room was clean, a bit small, but fine. Didn't notice we booked a package with a shared bathroom, but it was very clean, and I couldn't complain at all. The breakfast was OK, coffee, egg, and bread. The rooftop balcony was really nice. We got small gifts when checking out. This bought some bonus credits from me (laugh). With this price in Lima, it was worth staying! BTW, highly recommend you book the shuttle service from the hotel. The airport pickup place was caotic, and Uber was extremely expensive."

"This is the place you want to stay in Huaraz if you want to meet other adventurers who climb, hike, mountaineer or other quests. The staff is super friendly and you can leave your stuff there if you decide to go on a multiple day adventure. The prices for renting adventure gear are also really good."
