"The location is wonderful. Away from the main road and touristy town centre but super convenient too. The house is quite quirky in its layout but really well presented. It's clear the hosts really care."

"Kitchen is slightly unconventional with no cooker or hob (portable hot plates provided worked fine though). big bbq area outside would work well I imagine for a longer stay but we were only overnighting."

"Location was fabulous. Private, secluded & tranquil. Lots of space & a fantastic 4 poster bed, very comfortable. Modern bathroom with everything you need. Good peaceful base for walks or visits to Kaikoura & other local attractions. Lovely garden with the property & 360 deg views. Great communication with host. "Kitchen surface space is a bit restricted, might be an issue if staying for longer & you prefer to self cater. We only stayed one night. Toaster, oven & hob stored in larder cupboard in the kitchen. Once these items are out & in use, there's not much surface space for cooking, preparing or serving food. Everything else was great. Would be happy to return."
