"Our Motel room was amazing. We were upgraded to a newly renovated spa room. It was a beautiful quiet room. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs. A beautiful safe area near the University. Donna gave us lots of suggestions re touring and having a look around Otago Peninsula! Simply stunning! Should have stayed longer!"

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"
"I loved the general atmosphere of this colourful welcoming hostel. So far I have stayed two times. There were enough facilities, nice kitchen and garden with leisure area. There is mint growing in the garden for tea, etc.
The staff was helpful, a young woman for the afternoon/evening shift the most. When I stated a problem a solution was offered which is great. In this case it was regarding cleaning (which was not the case when I stayed first time), I was offered another room and I was told that the issue will be discussed with the cleaning team next day.
I really liked that the kitchen is closed after 10 pm, so it limits the noise at night. Overall it was always nice and quiet stay for good money."
