"What started as a 2 day trip to bardiya national park, turned into 6 days, not for the love of the jungle (also that a little) but love for an amazing family. Nanu, Kali and the 2 sons, welcomed us with open arms into their home and lives. We were so grateful for meeting these people, and have the opportunity to spend a week in an almost paradise. When a come back I am not a second in doubt where to stay, and where to get probably the best dal bhat I’ve had in Nepal yet (thank you Kali) and thank you so much Nanu for an amazing week 100/10 starts"

"The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it."
