"The view, the location, the cabins itself - I feel like everything was perfect here. The cabins were very well thought out of and super comfy. The shared kitchen and everything one could need. Everything was super clean and comfortable and the people very friendly and helpful. We even went swimming in the water - which was so nice!!"

"Super place with super view, we stay in. 4 person house with privat bathroom, it was very clean and it had verything we needed. Host is very nice and answer fast on every our questions. Highly recommend."

"A great view from the cabin terrace. As this is an open area with little blocking the views, we enjoyed some northern lights as we had a fairly clearly sky. The site is a short drive from the Bognes ferry, so served as an ideal stopover."

"Very convenient cabins in front of the lake. We only stayed one night during Winter, so didn't see the much of the outside but it looked beautiful: we'd love to come back and stay longer!"

"Clean and friendly hostel with good kitchen, showers, laundry machine. Comfy beds, good pillows, amazing staff. We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. "Such high quality of everything at such a remote location. The staff was great, doing an excellent job of running the place. The food was so delicious: the breakfast, the dinner, and also the freshly baked cookies and cakes in the community building. A special treat was watching movies about the history of this remarkable place in the evening, in the comfortable sofas of the bar area. The rooms are clean and simple. I initially worried a bit staying there would become boring, since there is no internet, and it is not possible to leave the hotel on your own (because of the possibility of polar bears). I was wrong: Multiple guided tours could be booked on the spot, visiting different areas of the settlement (or, in summer, even the surroundings, but I was there in October, with snow already covering the landscape). I highly recommend this place, run so professionally by the staff."
