"There as a weird and loud sound just outside of our room that kept us awake all night. It sounded like a donkey-call and our room was situated very close to perhaps the staff quarters in the back? Our room was on the second level at the far-end of the building with our balcony overlooking the pool."

"Riad Madu is one of the most beautiful places ive ever stayed in. There interieur is so beautiful en stylish. The view @ Sahara desert at swimmingpool is great. We also slept a night at Madu premium camp in the desert. Mohamed is the best guide. He deserves a 10! A great experience i would definitely recommend!"

"There was no choice for dinner in the restaurant in de evening. They served a more european-style dinner. Not bad, but having a choice what to eat has our preference."

"Really nice riad! We had the chance to be upgraded, and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool and with a view on the sand dunes. The staff was very nice and the pool was a big plus considering the hot weather in Merzouga. The dîner served was the same for everyone and was not exceptional but fine. Overall, I strongly recommend this riad."
