"Samindra Villa was our best experience in Sri Lanka so far. It is a beautiful Villa in the hills of Kandy (10 min to the center by tuktuk). It is on the river side of town which makes it a perfect escape from the busy city. The rooms where very clean and breakfast was great. We also had some nice moments on the balcony enjoying the views with a Tea and Coffee. More importantly the family was very very warm and welcoming throughout our whole stay, and we could feel it came from a genuine place. There wholeheartedness really made it a wonderful experience for us. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Kandy."

"We really enjoyed the space here, especially the large balcony and size of the room, accommodating three of us in total. Our hosts were kind and attentive, providing excellent hospitality and offering us help whenever needed. The location was perfect for us, being slightly out of the centre of Sigiriya (approximately 2 km). It was within walking/cycling distance from some beautiful archeological spots, and only a 10-15 minute bus ride away from Dambulla. We loved the garden too and were able to have fresh fruits every morning. Their restaurant across the road also made tasty food. We would love to return here one day. Thank you so much for hosting us."
