It's well worth the jeep ride from the car park, as you end up in a stunning location right on the edge of the forest, surrounded by beautiful views and sounds of nature. The staff are kind and friendly, and do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. Our chalet was rustic but comfortable, with an emphasis on sustainability and proximity to the natural environment. We went on three private nature trails that were incredible value for money, with an exceptional guide, Shantha. It was a privilege to stay there and I would recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure and a passion for the natural world"

"Comfortable and cozy accommodation. Separated from the main roads and in an extremely quiet place. The right place to "recharge your batteries". The rooms are comfortable with private bathroom, clean and with basic and quite sufficient furniture. A small but extremely beautiful and well-kept yard with lots of greenery. So is the environment. It is not far from the center of Kandy, and the friendly hosts can provide you with transportation (Tuk-tuk, taxi...) to further destinations. The hosts are warm and friendly and you can get a lot of information about Kandy, Sri Lanka... historical points of interest, food, life. The host is an artistic "soul" and you will not be bored. Nearby (500-600 meters) there is a smaller Buddhist temple."

"This hotel is spotlessly clean with first rate facilities. The welcome was warm from the outset and all the staff were fabulous. There are shops and a few places to eat very conveniently positioned and it is easy to get a tuk tuk to anywhere else that you might want to go. Some of the rooms are very colorfully decorated! This is certainly a unique place to stay. All the fixtures and fittings and plumbing and electrics worked perfectly. The shower had hot water and was fitted in a cubicle which meant that the floor of the bathroom did not get flooded. Breakfast was a very generous buffet affair with as much as you could eat of dozens of dishes. The quality of the food was excellent. The pool is large and was a great place to cool off after a hot day exploring the local archaeological site."
