"The Pavillion Suite is lovely and has a wonderful view on the Lake Bienvenue. It is a generous size and feels like a small flat!"

The breakfast was not good at all - very messy, congested and the food quality was poor. The kitchenette would have benefited from a hob cooker so as to be able to cook meals as otherwise the suite was well equipped

"Beautiful setting on the outskirts of the city, high on a hill. A place where there is tent camping, spaces for camper vans, and there are rooms available. We had a beautiful room with private bathroom, and shared access to a sitting room, kitchen facilities and terrace. It is self-catering, but the hosts will order bread to be delivered in the morning for you, or they’ll order a pizza delivery in the evening. There is an outdoor cafe/bar. The place is bustling, interesting and entertaining. Lamego is a beautiful city with many interesting buildings."

"Great location. Room has a nice view of the city. Easy self check-in process which they explain via videos they send on whatsapp. Communication with the staff via whatsapp was also easy and fast."

Rugged floors looked not too clean, there were a few hairs on the bed (which I don't care too much but could be an issue for some others)

"Awesome host. I couldn’t believe the photos from the previous reviews but it’s true, all the photos you see are truly about a 10 step walk from the bedrooms. Simple, but incredible place to stay. The host will make sure you’re well looked after, help you with the tours/ self guided tours nearby and is very helpful with transport knowledge. We loved this place! I will say, if you’re vegan or veggie it’s hard to find food nearby, so maybe ask the host in advance if you can cook some simple food. They let us cook noodles ❤️❤️"

I must say, it was a delightful experience overall, and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking both great value and a convenient location. The most satisfying part of my stay was undoubtedly the exceptional value I received for the price. The hotel offers affordable rates without compromising on quality or comfort. The room I stayed in was clean, and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly exceeded my expectations."

While my stay at T.A.B hotel was overwhelmingly positive, there was one aspect that fell slightly short of my expectations. The hotel does not offer dining service. Luckily, there are many food options just downstairs, from street food to restaurants. Some restaurants even open until midnight. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the overall positive impression I had of the hotel.
