"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with the heating in the room and on the third night they changed us to another room, which was great."

"The breakfast was piping hot and there was quite a selection with Hot meals for breakfast and a lighter breakfast available. The room was lovely and the bathroom was large and airy. The only issue was that there was a large support handle (presumably for the elderly) right near the shower head making it a bit difficult to shower. The rest rooms in the Hotel were out of this world with some exquisite furniture in them and the evening entertainment every evening was enjoyable. This is a must place to stay in Dublin !"

Breakfast - excellent, good selection. Peace - the room was quiet and I could rest well. Internet - was excellent. Shops - there are food shops five minutes from the hotel. Reception, cleaning staff, waiters - everyone was very friendly. Early check in - I arrived early at the hotel and they allowed me to check in and enter the room early. Thank you very much."

"The hotel is very comfy and stylish. You can roam free around the many common rooms and corridors, perhaps that's why my daughter genuinely thought we were staying in a castle, ha. Everything was very neat, clean and quiet. Each evening, after a long day of sightseeing and fun, we looked forward to coming back! Definitely not one of these "just somewhere to sleep" places. Breakfast was amazing, with great selection of food and drinks. I loved the staff who were helpful and polite, and never once complained about taking our buggy in and out of the luggage room. The hotel is very close to the city centre and the train station (20–25 min), and you can walk to the zoo in about 45 minutes."

"It might sound a bit strange, but the only thing that we found tricky was the... duvet! Somehow it was very, very hot to sleep under it, even when we turned the radiator off and had the window open (in February). This had a chain reaction of making it a little tricky to handle the temperature in the room throughout the stay. Other than that, everything was perfect."

"Very nice and professional staff. Location is superb for guests like me using public transportation. The full Irish breakfast meet all expectations. My double had a very comfortable bed. A couple of old Georgian town houses converted to hotel gives a very charming and quirky character not found in any modern hotel."

"The hotel is not very sound proof. Traffic and other guests are constantly invading your room. Hotels in Dublin are also sadly putting american prices on their rooms but Dublin is just Dublin, not USA...."
