"Bathroom washbasin was a bit cramped -- for such a spacious room you would have thought space could have been devoted in the bathrooms for a decent sized washbasin. However, this was a minor irritation, and you adapt accordingly :)"

"Mostly peaceful surroundings. Central to visit the most incredible waterfalls for great hikes and a few warungs that were good. Great view of Mt Semeru from the balcony and good local viewpoints with no tourists."

"The hotel is suited in a greenery area. You are really part of the nature with a great view on mount Semeru. The staff is great and helpful. The hotel with villa’s are comfortable. I would definitely recommend Artha Cottages if you would like to visit Bromo, Semeru and Tumpak Sewu. The swimming is not big, but good for refressing. The cottages are modern, well maintained and really suited in a green surrounding. The garden is beautiful."
