"Property is out of town with no local facilities ( shop etc) other than local a Restaurant which is great & should be reserved to secure table We managed with mainly Ubers & Hire Car We even walked into Dubrovnik one night however walk in is rocky path & not great if your dressed for dinner"

"The property was fabulous and the hosts were great. The apartments had everything you needed to make simple meals, the bedroom was very comfortable and had AC. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with towels, paper and little bottles of shampoo and conditoner. We also had a private balcony which looked over the properties garden. The pool was of course the star of the show and it exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and well kept there were plenty of loungers, an outdoor shower, a drinks fridge, a stereo you could connect your phone to and a big BBQ area. There is also a very nice traditional restaurant a 5 minute walk from the property would definitely recommend trying out! Since the property is located about halfway up the hill it's a walkable distance from the panorama at the very top which has some great views."

"The property itself was perfect but it is quite the hike from the main town. While it not far it's a rather difficult walk up/down a steep rocky path and stairs. It's a very hard to climb in the heat even for the fittest folk so prepare to get taxis often. (If you have a car rental this place would be perfect for you!) It is also out of the delivery zone on all food delivery platforms (glovo, user eats, etc.)."

"A great little bolt hole away from the chaos of the old town, everything was as described - clean and tidy with a great shower, working air con and a very comfortable bed. The pool was a little haven and we often had it to ourselves. Mario was always really responsive if we needed anything, pick up from/to the airport was really handy too - with the driver stopping at a supermarket on the way back to the villa for us. Really great service and the complementary beers, wine and Rakija were a lovely touch."

"Only negative is the location, in the height of the day's heat the walk up from the old town is not something to attempt! We did know about this and had read other reviews but hadn't fully factored in a heatwave. In slightly cooler temperatures it is still a very hot, sweaty and sticky slow walk. We used Uber a lot and sometimes had to wait a little bit as drivers were less keen to go so far out of their way. The walk down however, was beautiful."

"Lovely apartment in a quiet location. Around 30 min walk into town, down some steps with amazing views. There is also a local bus that runs most days into centre , apart from Sundays but we used Uber. Family were so welcoming & offered lots of advice on where to visit. Brought us some fresh veg from their garden which was nice. Had a wonderful time"

"Very clean, comfortable apartment with excellent air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the balcony was spacious with beautiful views. The pool area was fabulous with sun beds and umbrellas and was a real bonus after a hot day in the city. The apartment block is a distance uphill from the old town but there is a bus stop right outside and costs €2.50 a trip. If you buy the city pass, which I would definitely recommend, the bus trips are free. We also used the Uber app which was a fantastic service and cost €5-€7 a trip. I would recommend the walk down to the old town at least once as the views are stunning. There is a bench along the way to sit and appreciate the panoramic views. It is about a 20/25 minute walk. If you enjoy hiking the walk up is a great workout!"

"Lovely Villa in a quiet, residential setting. Very happy during our stay and we were well looked after. We walked down the steep, rocky coastal path into central Dubrovnik every day but it is not suitable for children or those who have difficulty walking. Stunning views though. We walked up the path once during the week. Never again! We used Ubers the remaining time which was not a problem. Few buses to be seen but they do run on most days. It was end of season when we visited but we were still given a bottle of wine on arrival which is a nice touch."

"No local shop for water, milk bread etc. so you have to plan ahead for what you will need and go to a supermarket in the town and stock up."
