"I was able to book a room just before midnight of the same night (in the app it says 24 hours front desk). When I arrived, the doors were closed. I was able to call and they were able to open the doors after I woke them up and accommodated me but it's quite a surprise if it says 24 hours front desk and then it actually isn't..."

Staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful - special thanks to Mariama who very kindly went above and beyond her duties to accompany me to the market so I wasn't alone. Good buffet breakfast, clean swimming pool, lovely gardens, spacious rooms. I felt very safe here as a solo female too."

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.

Some of the bathrooms should be renovated, one leaked water even to the mainroom, which was dangerous. Even others have humidity damages and small cockroaches. I was twice bitten by insects during the night, probably bedbugs or ants, and had to ask the staff to spray my room again. Some of the sheets are obviously not pure cotton and itchy.

That the restaurant isn't closed and no one helped me with my huge case to my room ( iwas on my own and kinda just pointed in the right direction even though I had three bags.

"I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats

Por ahí tener un colcha de verano o similar. Y que el baño tenga cortina a fin de que no se moje todo al bañarse. Igual todo correcto.

"O atendimento é maravilhoso! Me ajudaram muito quando tive um perrengue com uma agencia de turismo - inclusive reclamando por mim pela falha da agência, me senti super acolhida e isso faz muita diferença quando estamos sozinhos em outro país. A estrutura do quarto é bastante boa (poderia melhorar só na iluminação e dar alguma privacidade para os quartos do térreo, que, a noite, se não fecharmos o blackout, viram uma vitrine). Toalhas e lençóis ótimos, chuveiro maravilhoso. Cama e travesseiros bem bons. A cidade é bem caotica, com trânsito perigoso e pouco turistica, e a Casa Andina é um lar fora de casa."

O café da manhã, embora bem gostoso, é um pouco deficiente quando comparado à qualidade do hotel. A localização não é ruim, mas são bons 15 a 20 minutos lomba acima a partir do centro (na altitude, lembrem-se). Apesar de terem um espaço externo privado da unidade, os quartos do térreo não tem como aproveitar isso, já que não tem nenhuma privacidade. Me sentei na mureta com a porta do quarto aberta um dia, pegando sol, e recebi olhares de muito espanto, embora não tenha me sentido compelida a sair dali - e é um espaço com solzinho muito bom, acho que com uma floreira alta ao redor já daria a privacidade necessária.
