"Just a regular hostel with rooms. The walls are thin so you can easily hear some noise from other guests. If you need the place just to stay somewhere and rest - it’s OK, but don’t expect anything special from it."

"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"

"This is a very nice hostel with extremely nice staff members and very comfortable beds. I was quite fortunate that I had an entire room to myself due to my visit being in January (the quiet season). The common is also very nice and the beach is very close by. Overall, this hostel is excellent value for money!"

While it is great that this hostel is right next to the beach, it is a little bit of a walk from the main train station (around 20 minutes). It also gets a little confusing when it comes to how to get to the hostel when crossing the bridge. These are only minor things but worth mentioning, especially if you are walking from the main train station.

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"This is a really great hostel. Perfectly located in the historic centre and yet close to restaurants and shops. A warm welcome and helpful staff throughout who all seem to enjoy their roles. They even provided a towel as well as fresh linen for the dormitory beds. Really nice design for the hostel - clean and bright."

A bit noisy customers second night but it was okay

"I tried a hostel for the first time and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I went in a little sceptical, but a close friend strongly recommended this place—and it completely lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. The property itself is stunning, perfectly located (a walkable radius from most important landmarks), with a rooftop view that’s hard to beat. But what really made the experience was the vibe—there’s such a natural sense of community here that just pulls you in. What I loved and will miss the most were the owners and staff, who are easily some of the warmest, most genuine people I met on this trip. Somehow managed to feel like I’d known them for ages by the time I left. Left with a full heart and would 100% want to stay here again."

"I had seen some of the reviews and I was a little worried going in as I have stayed in other hostels by the same company in different locations and they weren't- great. But I was so pleasantly surprised. Friendly and helpful staff, no bugs, clean room, not noisy. I was only staying there for one night but I was so happy, the bed was super comfy (and i was really lucky as nobody else had booked in my room!) Facilities worked great and it was close enough to the German border that I literally walked across!"

There was no soap in the bathroom but I'd seen other reviews saying that so I brought my own 🤷‍♀️ Bit of a trek from the city centre but honestly it was no bother.

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.
