"The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Hostel was close to the center. It was a pleasure to enjoy peacefulness here. Bed was good to sleep. "It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

"Quiet area just off the Main Street. 10mins walk from the beach. Clean, cozy and chill vibes. Conducive environment to interact with other guests as well. Friendly hosts who provided great information on surrounding attractions."

"A wonderful hotel that makes you sleep with peace of mind. A warm reception and a smile on their faces. The breakfast is good. The place is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it to you. The room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV that only has Tunisian channels. There are no movie channels. This is the point.I don't like it. I want all the channels on the TV. Wi-Fi in every room. Good. The security guard is cheerful. Thank you."

I just didn't like the breakfast. I don't want eggs with onions. Everyone is free to eat what they want.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"The location sits on main public transit options; Bus stop, METRO station, and one street away a main connecting street offering additional public bus stops & connections. A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation.
