"We enjoyed staying at this quirky guest house. We were warmly met by the friendly owner and had plenty of space to hang out for the day we were there, waiting to catch a shuttle to Belize City. I say quirky because in our mini apartment, there was a bed in the kitchen ( as well as our bed in the bedroom), and there is an old US school bus in the garden. But it felt quirky rather than derelict. It's a 5min taxi ride to the bus terminal in town or a 20-minute walk. We chose the Taxi option. It's also close to a good bakery, and you can see the supermarket from the hammocks in the garden. There is a fabulous restaurant called Hambre which is a 20 min walk."

There was nothing we didn't like, but this place will not appeal to everyone. It feels local, and maybe a little dated, but it was spacious, safe, and clean, and everything we needed.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"The scenery is peaceful and restful. The loft was impecably clean and cozy. Jean's recommendations on Hue were spot on. On top of that, I really welcomed the experience of being part of the household's routine, it was really nice to be able to share a meal and play with the kids. По информация от сайта - размерът на стаята е 15 кв.м. За стая Nо 2 тази квадратура вероятно включва и банята, и балкона. Стаята е изключително малка. За една-две нощи е ОК, но за по-дълга ваканция за двама не е за предпочитане. Би било добре да се постави закачалка за връхни дрехи (към момента липсва).

Always attentive, giving advice on what to visit in the area, making your stay as easy, comfortable, and pleasant as possible. "We enjoyed staying in this pleasant beautifully decorated house with the lovely host Genet and her 4 puppies. She was very warm ,welcoming and treated us like a member of the family. Genet was very efficient and organised and updated us regularly before our arrival. She arranged safe transport for us ,gave us very useful tips and reccomeded lovely places to dine at. Every day she prepared amazing traditional breakfast dishes and before we left even gave us her own home made berber and another special powder. Loved staying here and will always remember Genet"

When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.
