"We loved our stay in Livingston and in the Winnard Hotel, which was clean, quiet, spacious and friendly. The breakfast was very good too!
We didn't have dinner here, but we did have it at the 'Sister hotel' the Casa Nostra. Here you can have dinner by the waters edge.
We stayed here for one night on our journey from Rio Dulce in Guatemala to Punta Gorda in Belize. Stuart, who runs the Casa Nostra and Winnard Hotels, was incredibly helpful in helping us navigate the boat journey to PG and the vagueries of immigration on the Livingston side. We booked our boat tickets through the hotel, and he was on-hand to help us throughout ( and many others from what we saw).
I would recommend the Hotel ( just 2 mins from the Pier) as a great stopover. In fact, I wish we'd had a day or 2 to explore more of the area."

"Simple and clean room and super kind staff (the lady who manages the place speaks English) - what else can you wish for at this price? It has a nice homestay vibe and you get a bit of a look into Mayan cultural life. Also it’s ideally situated between the San Juan lancha, town and the road to San Pedro."
