"We had an issue with the heating in our room. But the staff sorted it out straight away providing us with heaters which did the trick! The staff were friendly and very helpful. A special thank you to the cleaner who was lovel. We ate at the Old Mill and the food was excellent and big portions. We didn't have puddings as we were both to full! A great location to Sedgefield for horse racing and for the Nationals cross country championships."

"Amazing hotel in possibly the best location in Oxford. We stayed five nights for a romantic city revisit. Many visitors for sure will enjoy the old world charm of the building. For me this was less important having grown up in a similar environment. What struck me was the amazing experience provided by the staff, all of whom, without exception, were customer focused and extremely pleasant making our stay super enjoyable. A big shout out to Stefan in particular for his ability not only to read our moods but also to take the lead in managing our entire experience. This leadership and intelligence meant we were always perfectly looked after. He'll make an excellent hotel manager wherever he decides to go. Also we have to say that dining is probably the best in the area and we would recommend the restaurant to hotel guests and city visitors alike. Thank you all for such a wonderful time. We really enjoyed and look forward to being able to return."
