"well located and nice view of the castle. Restaurant underneath had nice,reasonable food. No parking but found a space not far and it was free. Comfortable bed."
"The stairs. Up to first floor not bad, bit to go to second floor they were extremely narrow and winding. Difficult to get ourselves up nevermind the suitcases 🙃 nice size bathroom but the water in the shower didn't stay warm for long"

"The room & attached bathroom were both lovely - the best of our trip. The position overlooking the Main Street and the château is ideal - the street is lively but closes up for the night relatively early. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Our hosts made us feel very welcome."

"The Villa Roma is in the very heart of old town Amboise, right on the promenade, so the location could not be better. It is an Italian restaurant with few rooms in the back. Our room was spacious with fridge inside. Bed comfortable, all was very clean. Bathroom was small but clean and with all ammenities we needed. They have space for bicycles inside, under the roof, which is great for Loire cycling."

"Had to boil kettle on the floor as kettle cable too short to reach plug sockets. Very squeaky floorboard on one side of bed. Staircase to 2nd floor is very steep and uneven and could cause problems to those with mobility issues."
