"The accommodation had character, was clean and practical. Breakfast was excellent value for money with homemade jam and yogurt which was absolutely delicious. Villa Dampierre has a relaxed feel, friendly and well organised."

"This place is glorious! Easy to walk into Pau, an oasis of green leafy calm in the city, easy parking, a gracious mansion with high ceilings and huge and beautiful rooms (and cats and chickens!!) chance to meet other travellers at the wonderful home made breakfast from Sophie and Gilles, and also a warm and kind welcome. Thank you so much!!!"

"The location is great for visiting Pau as it is on a good bus route. There is safe off street parking at the property. The room and garden space is delightful."
"I hadn’t realised the room was on the second floor. Another time I’ll choose a first floor room. We couldn’t find anywhere local for an evening meal. As the buses into the city are frequent and run late, we would head for the centre another time."
