"Very clean and nicely decorated bedsit apartment with an excellent view over the old harbour. 10 minutes drive to the ferry port entrance. The kitchen was small but reasonably equipped, and we appreciated that they had the cooking basics (oil, salt..) available."
"There are two chairs at the small dining table, but only one 'lounge style' chair."
"The Beach in Calais is absolutely lovely and worth travelling from England to experience. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. and has a lovely hot shower with good pressure. It is also very well equipped with everything needed to cook and enjoy a nice meal. Although Calais has plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy a meal. There is also a train station with good connections to the rest of France. I, myself, enjoyed a day trip in Paris, and I also visited Dunkerque, with all its WW2 history, though being sad, it is interesting.Now Dunkerque has lovely clean beach with plenty of activity's to join. All in all, I had a great week with lovely, affordable accommodation to return to in the evening."

"De locatie is prima, vlak bij het centrum. Winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Uitzicht op de havn. Gratis voor de deur parkeren."
"Door een matglazen raam in de voordeur komt 's nachts veel licht naar binnen. Dit licht valt op het bed. Verder zitten de ramen hoog en is de tafel laag, zodat je zittend aan tafel niet over de haven kunt uitkijken."
"Das Appartement liegt sehr nah am Centrum. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man für ein paar Tage benötigt. Der Check in/ Check out war problemlos. Es gibt wahnsinnig viel zu entdecken in Calai. Wir sind positiv überrascht. Wer mit dem Auto anreisen sollte, empfehlen wir einmal zum Cap Blanc Nez zu fahren - atemberaubend! Anschließend in Wissant ( kleines Fischerdorf) Mittags zum Muschelessen ins Café Chez Nicole. Sehr französisch 😊 Vielen Dank Carolie."
"Das ist von uns nichts negatives , aber für alle als Hinweis die darüber gemeckert haben dass es an der Eingangstür zu hell ist weil die Straßenlaterne zu hell leuchtet - es gibt außen an der Tür ein Rollo welches man runter ziehen kann und anschließend schließt man die Haustüre und Zack ist es dunkel 😉"

"Michelle and Bruno are the most wonderful hosts. We felt like we were welcomed into their family home, eating and dining with them as well as other guests in other rooms. It also gave us a good chance to practice our French! The food was very special, we had a 3 course meal, with local produce, local wine and Michelle’s home cooking. The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and comfortable, we felt very spoilt - definitely good value for money! And on top of that, they have 2 donkeys! Thank you again, we couldn’t recommend this stay enough, especially if you are cyclists like us, looking for a good rest stop on your way to the Alps."
