"We booked a room in the original "castle" section of the hotel and not in the new/modern wing. We loved our room and the the view over the courtyard. While not particularly large, the room was comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel staff was very friendly and service-oriented. We enjoyed sitting in the hall and bar area while reading a book. The grounds were lovely, but due to rainy weather we were unfortunately unable to enjoy the outdoor facilities and walking trails."

"The host was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. There is secure parking with cover for motorcycles, a pleasant restaurant and a sunny terrace for meals/ drinks. On our return trip, 6 days later we parked opposite, half an hour before opening time. The host remembered us and happily opened so we could enjoy a coffee. Recommended."
