"Location have been ideal for us. While rural and quiet, however very close to Dieppe (literally 10 min by car) and even closer to Dieppe Ferry (5 min). Our friends from London used that Ferry, it was super convenient and much cheaper than Eurotunnel.
The nearest Lidl and Carrefour shops are also about 5 min by car, while a huge Auchan hypermarket about 10 minutes.
We were super unlucky with weather. Rain, wind and 18C whole week in August. So we travel around by car a lot.
Several beautiful beaches and palaces worth a visit within 30 minutes drive.
Rouen about 50 min by car definitely worth a visit.
Etretat over an hour drive, but surely one have to see it. Just note that it's too touristic, a problem with parking in high season and terrible food (in comparison to anywhere else).
Dieppe not crowded, English spoken everywhere, which is convenient , no problems with parking and food as good as it should be."
