"The house is full of character and history but the room had modern heating, a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We also really enjoyed our breakfast and chat to the host in the grand but not imposing dining room. We only stayed one night but the town and surrounds we saw on the way out made us wish we were staying longer."

We especially liked the human experience, as we were welcomed personally by Charles, who is a perfect host, discreet, and also always a message away.
