"This property was outstanding…we knew we would be staying in a medieval Manor House, but it felt more like a castle! The owners had spared no expense in decorating and refurbishing the place and there was every attention to detail! So very creative. And from the moment we arrived they helped us to take our luggage off the motorbike and carried it upstairs for us. Then they very kindly let us park our bike in their own garage. Lou-Ann and Christophe were very friendly. We loved strolling around Confolens, it’s a beautiful town, and we had a lovely meal at a restaurant that Lou-Ann told us about. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at this incredible Manor House."

"Of the many overnight stops I have made in France this was the most memorable. Fantastically renovated and decorated old Manor in a lovely town. Great hosts and wonderful room with huge fireplace and so atmospheric."

"Absolute gem of a place. Booked last minute as we had a party in the town. The room was beautiful, so stylish and different with its unusual furniture. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"Everything! The Manoir des Arts is a place of utter joy. Each room, corridor and stairway contains extraordinary paintings or unusual pieces of art. I felt like I was staying in a very comfortable luxurious exhibition/installation. The finish of the decoration is perfection, the quality of the furnishings is superb, everything works and then there is the hosting.... Nothing is too much trouble for the creative team of Lou Anne and Christoph. They even offer a home cooked tasty table d'hote in their kitchen in the evening. I was blown away by the whole experience. Great value. Super location. An amazing experience."
