"We booked a larger room which had a generous terrace with outdoor furniture. The room was a good size, well appointed and had a good bathroom. Lovely view through an ivy surrounded window. The restaurant was serving inside and was excellent."

"We arrived deliberately early to enjoy a relaxing afternoon sunbathing and using the pool. What we hadn’t been told on booking - and this would have been easy to do - was that there was an exceptionally loud (boom boom music) birthday party at the pool. There was nowhere to go except sit inside our room to avoid it. In 28 degrees. Had we been told in advance, we could have delayed our arrival by visiting somewhere first or even cancelled and booked another hotel. It ruined our afternoon - but it could have been avoided with advance notice."

"Very comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. Air conditioned. Very quiet room. We heard no noise from inside or outside the room. Nice to be able to have a swim in the pool after a day's travelling. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast was a nice touch."

The room we had been assigned initially was not suitable for us, far too noisy due to the chimney flue for the heating/air conditioning running up the outside wall. We were assigned another room very quickly which had the facilities we needed and which was quiet. Breakfast was very good but dinner was the stand-out; absolutely superb food in a lovely setting served by friendly and efficient staff."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Les Olivades. The staff were very friendly, the swimming pool perfect for our kids and the room was a great size for a family of 4 people. We visited the beautiful lake and enjoyed the surrounding mountains. We would definitely return. A great hotel."

"The only small thing is the lack of a cheaper bar menu that might have some kids options like pasta or omelette or chicken nuggets. The restaurant was delicious but not cheap and didn't cater to picky kids. But Gap is only down the road and has plenty of restaurants."

"Incredibly helpful staff, accomodating a small emergency my friends had and keeping the amazing restaurant open later so we could have dinner. Beautiful hotel, stunning location in the mountains and fantastic facilities."
