"The hosts are very pleasant people. The accommodation is simple and tucked away from the road it is also quiet. The restaurant terrace is very agreeable for breakfast."
"The room is rather sombre and there is no desk and no chair in the room. For dinner, it would have been good to have seen a wine list. Breakfast seemed to me a bit over-priced at 10 euros for yogurt, mini-viennoisseries and sliced baguette. Pity the bar wasn't open to residents during the afternoon."
"Auf unserer herbstlichen Rückreise kam das Logis le Chalet wie gerufen. Ein Rückzugsort mit grosszügigen Zimmern, direkt an der Landstrasse, aber in der Natur. Und dann über allem das Abendessen mit herzlicher Bedienung und hervorragendem Essen. Was will man mehr?!"

"Nous sommes arrivés en avance sur l’heure prévue. Le premier contact avec le monsieur a été froid. On voulait juste savoir s’il était possible d’obtenir la chambre plus tôt. Sa réponse bien que juste, n’avait pas forcément le bon ton. S’il l’avait donnée avec la manière cela aurait mieux passé. Par contre, la responsable de la réception a juste vérifié si la chambre était dispo et nous avons pu y aller directement. Merci pour sa flexibilité."

"You can't get a better location. In the heart of everything. Bars, shops, and food markets. The washing machine was amazing for us as we were staying for 4 days. Having a kitchen saves on always eating out."

"It was a lovely quiet rural location. The staff were all superb from the very start. There was a good choice for dinner and breakfast and an extensive wine selection, including local Alsace wine - there is also an award winning winery and cave next door which sadly we did not have enough to visit. We would love to revisit"
"The house was even more impressive on arrival than it was in the photos (which were impressive already!). There are substantial grounds, with a really practical patio, plus enough parking spacs for at least 6 cars! We were met on arrival by Mdm Bozec who was lovely. She showed us everything we needed and assured us that she was a call away should we need anything (which we didn't). The house has an open plan downstairs, which is bright and airy. Electric blinds make regulating the temperature easy. The beds were all comfortable and in well-proportioned rooms. The location is perfect for Le Mer Blanc, just 5mins walk away. Benodet is 15mins to the market place. It couldn't have been a better location for what we wanted from our holiday."
